Context specific innovations.
The Response Innovation Labs are currently operating around the world in response to various emergencies. Each lab carries out and contextualizes the core functions of - Convene, Matchmake and Support. The labs and global support will continue to expand to countries affected by, or highly vulnerable to, disasters and crises.
Each lab has already conducted a thorough mapping of humanitarian and innovation actors within their respective response environments, including organizations who implement or support a variety of challenges within the emergency context. To date, over 2,000+ organizations have been mapped across the ecosystems that RIL serves, with over 1,000+ of these engaging directly with our programming. This extensive network and user base will be mobilized to apply our proven approaches to identifying actors, challenges, existing innovations and potential new solutions.
